Marie T. Martin was born in 1982 in Freiburg and studied at the German Literature Institute Leipzig. She is a freelance editor and author based in Cologne, publishing in various magazines and anthologies. In 2007, she was awarded with a grant by the MDR literature contest, in 2008 she received the Dorfschreiber grant in Eisenbach, as well as the Rolf-Dieter-Brinkmann-Scholarship from the city of Cologne.
Ulrike Steinke was born in 1975 in Mecklenburg and studied graphic design at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. She was a master student of Volker Pfüller from 2002 to 2004 and is scholarship holder of the FES. She is working as a freelance graphic artist and illustrator, and made third place in the illustration contest of Büchergilde Gutenberg. 2002 and 2003: »100 beste Plakate«. Various single and group exhibitions.
